We only ship insured with tracking. Within Switzerland by post, to Germany and Austria by DHL as standard. If you would like a different method, please contact us. If the device is newly produced for you, you will receive the package directly from the factory via UPS Express – customs duties may apply.
Every purchase of night vision devices is a matter of the heart that requires the greatest care from all parties involved. Large amounts of money are moved and several parties are involved.

Each tube is unique and has its own data sheet and characteristics.
The “FOM value” (figure of merit) allows you to superficially estimate the performance of the tube. It is the product of a multiplication of the following two values: “SNR” and “RES”.
“SNR” stands for signal to noise ratio and describes the relationship between the noise in the image and the actual usable image. The higher the value, the lower the noise, the better the image quality in heavy darkness. Nowadays, the industry standard is values around 25.
“RES” describes relatively simply the resolution of the image in “lp/mm”, i.e. lines per millimeter. The industry standard today is 64 lp/mm, so you’re well positioned.
Example: FOM 1600+
The “+” means that the minimum thickness of the tube is 1600.
SNR 25 x RES 64 = FOM 1600
